Dallas police are investigating two break-ins that happened while families were asleep in their homes.

A North Dallas couple fell asleep watching Hurricane Sandy coverage on TV, but at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, the wife woke up.

"I just had a feeling and woke up, and my worst nightmare was standing there in front of me," said the woman, who did not wish to be identified.

A man was standing at her dresser and going through her jewelry. Their eyes locked.
